Justin Bieber Accused Of Degrading Behaviour By Lesbian Choreographer - Music News
Emma Portner, who collaborated with the singer on his Purpose World Tour in 2016, revisited the experience in a candid Instagram post on Monday (01Jul19), during which she revealed she was given "barely anything" in terms of compensation.
"I regret working under your name," she wrote in an Instagram message to Bieber. "I gave your universe my naive body, creativity, time and effort. Twice. For content you made millions off of. While I made zilch."
The 24 year old also called the experience degrading, claiming she went hungry during the ordeal: "I couldn’t afford to eat. I was sweeping studio floors to be able to practice my own craft. The way you degrade women is an abomination," she added.
Bieber has yet to respond to the allegations.
Portner, who is married to actress Ellen Page, also slammed the Baby hitmaker for being a part of the megachurch Hillsong, which she claims has anti-LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer) views.
"Your company hired an out lesbian in your music video, and to choreograph some content for your purpose world tour. How do you feel about that?" she wrote. "A lesbian, HELPING YOU, for a disrespectful amount of money, as you attend a church that goes against my existence?"
Representatives for Hillsong have previously denied they are "anti-anyone", maintaining in statement on the organisation's website that members love "all people".
